Join us for a student-led tour of the current exhibition, The Vastness is Bearable, at MCASB’s Satellite location at Hotel Indigo Santa Barbara, 121 State Street. Afterwards we’ll join Dr. Jatila van der Veen, Project Scientist for the Experimental Cosmology Group at UCSB and Education Coordinator for the Planck Mission, as she leads us on an exploration of the history of the universe.

This program is presented in collaboration with the Santa Barbara Funk Zone’s monthly event, the 2nd Saturdays Art Walk.

MCASB Satellite @Hotel Indigo SB

From 2012 – 2018, Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara (MCASB) programmed year-long exhibitions and events at a satellite location at Hotel Indigo Santa Barbara, a boutique art hotel that combines historic Santa Barbara architecture and a sleek modern style. Functioning as an extension of the Museum, the MCASB satellite site offered world-class exhibitions and public programs to hotel guests and a larger segment of the community—free of charge.
