MCASB Executive Director and Chief Curator Miki Garcia will lead a tour at LACMA of Calder and Abstraction: From Avant-Garde to Iconic. The exhibition explores the artist’s radical translation of French Surrealist vocabulary into American vernacular. The tour of the exhibition will be followed by lunch at Ray’s and a private tour of the A+D Architecture and Design Museum for a sneak peek into MCASB’s January 2014 exhibition, Almost Anything Goes.
