About the Event
The Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara is excited to announce that we are becoming a new member of The Judith Center Book Club! This will be an ongoing collaboration and we’re excited for you all to join us!
We will be having an in-person Satellite Book Club gathering at MCASB on October 21st from 7 - 8:30 PM. During this time we’ll zoom in to be part of Session 05.
Session 05 will feature Shulamith Firestone’s Airless Spaces (1998), with special guest Chris Kraus. Kraus is a novelist and Co-editor of Semiotext(e), which recently reissued the book with a new introduction by her.
The only required text for this session is Airless Spaces (1998) by Shulamith Firestone. There’s still time to read the book if you start now!
To participate remotely, join the book club via Zoom by following this link.
Purchase Options: Semiotext(e), MIT Press, Silver Press and eBooks.com
