We are so happy to announce that our Dia de Muertos Calenda is making its comeback this year on Sunday October 25!
Our Dia de Muertos Calenda is a free event! This festive event will feature a range of traditional music and dances from the Mexican states of Oaxaca and Guerrero. Don't miss out on this amazing community celebration, all are welcome! The procession will begin in front of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art and end at the De La Guerra Plaza where the Mercadito de Calenda organized by The Space in collaboration with the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation will be wiaitng for us. Stop by the mercadito to enjoy some delicious food, drinks and shop local artisans.
